Three main types of motion
Linear motion : body moving in a straight line for example a car moves in a straight line from a to b.
Rotatory motion or circular motion: body moves in a circular path for example Moon is moving in a circular path around the Earth.
Translatory motion: body moving in a path without rotation , path would be both straight or curve for example moving bus, movie cycle , moving train.

2.linear motion:-traight line motion of a body is known as its linear motion. eg. motion of car on the road
3.circular motion:-he motion of an object in a circular path is known as circular motion.”A toy train moving on a circular track.Earth revolving around the sun is the eg. of circular motion.
4.rotation motion:-The spinning motion of a body about its axis is called its rotatory motion.
eg.motion of electron around the nucleus
5.vibratory motion:-The motion of a body about its mean position is known as vibratory motion.” eg. motion of conical pendulum
