Natural resources are classified as either biotic or abiotic depending on the basis of their origin.

The Indian lands, includes a multitude of both types mentioned above. In its economy, especially in the rural areas, the consumption depends on these natural resources. Not just the consumption of the rural areas, in fact it makes up most of the exports of the country as well.

These resources are the reason why the country flourishes till this date.

It adds up to the capability of the national power which India posses. The ability of having resources can be explained by how with this wars can be won. Other countries may even get exploited through this. Example can be taken from how India controls the water works of the Indus which controls Pakistan's water supply as well.

This gives them the upperhand on power.

There cannot be an overall development of any country without the natural resources and harnessing them to their fullest potential can only benefit a country.

Natural resources are gifts of nature which have their own utility.

They do not just include the flora and fauna, but also the minerals, natural oil, coal and gas, which can be put to domestic, commercial and industrial uses. this actually helps a nation to become a developed nation, in terms of total economic terms.
