In 1921 Gandhi ji designed a swaraj flag. It was a tricolor flag namely saffron, green and white. It had a spinning wheel.
Saffron stands for sacrifice.
White for peace.
Green for prosperity.
The flag become a symbol of the nation. It creates the feeling of oneness.
