Answer:

PRESENT TENSE

1. Present Indefinite/Simple Present Tense

(I) am/is/are

(II) main verb/ -s with main verb/-es with main verb

Examples:

I am happy.

He is busy.

They are tired.

I eat rice.

Ram plays cricket

Hari watches TV.

2. Present Continuous Tense

(I) am/is/are + (main verb + ing)

(II) no change in auxiliary verb (we can't add -ing with auxiliary verb)

Example:

I am singing a song.

Jatin is drinking tea.

The boys are playing in the field.

3. Present Perfect Tense

(I) have/ has + past participle form of verb.

(II) past participle is the third form of the verb. Example: do--->did---->done. So "done" is the past participle form.

(III)Similarly, watch ---->watched ---->watched. Here the third form "watched" is past participle. Sometimes, the past form and past participle form remains the same. So we shouldn't get confused.

Examples:

I have taken my meal

She has attended the meeting.

4. Present Perfect Continuous Tense

(I) have been/ has been + (main verb+ing)

(II) since/for can be found in these sentences.

(III) since = definite time (since 2001)

for = indefinite time (for two hours)

Examples:

I have been living in Delhi since 1994.

It has been raining since morning.

We have been working on this project for three hours.

I have given you some notes on Present Tense. Hope it helps.

Thanks
