Rice cultivated in forest are known as forest rice.

There's a lot of difference in rice grown in forest and land flat land because as we know that forest have a great source of life on earth so they have the greatest fertility of soil and which it is better like grown rice there.

by adding manures we can also get the fertility of soil to grow rice in flatlands and plaines.
