Answer:

The Great Bath is part of a large citadel complex that was found in the 1920s during excavations of Mohenjo-daro, one of the main centres of the Indus civilization. The bath is built of fine brickwork and measures 897 square feet (83 square metres). It is 8 feet (2.5 metres) lower than the surrounding pavement. I hope this helped you.

Answer:

The most remarkable structure built on the citadel in Mohenjodaro was a large bathing enclosure with changing rooms and galleries on all sides. The swimming pool which was situated at the centre measured 12 metres by 7 metres. The floor of the swimming pool was made of burnt bricks and its walls had been made watertight with a layer of natural tar. There were steps leading to it from two sides. Water was probably brought in from a well. Used water was discharged by a drain connected to the pool. The Great Bath is the finest of the specimen of the engineering skill of the Harrapan people. The tank was probably used for ritual bath on special occassions.
