we wear woolen clothes in winter to preventing cold, cough etc . disease. winter clothes are specialist outerwear live coats , jacketsetc . heads, scarf and gloves are mittens but also warm underwear like long underwear ,union suits and socks. Military issues winter clothing evolved from having coats and jackets to multilayer clothing for the purpose of keeping troops warm during winter battler .Northern cultures use animal for winter clothes.
