Nutrition in plants-
Autotrophic Nutrition- green plants which make their own food by photosynthesis are classified in the Autotrophic Nutrition and are called " Autotrophs". Eg - Grass, etc.
Heterotrophic Nutrition- plants which depend on food produced by other organism is classified in heterophic Nutrition and are called "Heterotrophs". Eg - Venus flytrap, pitcher plant.
Sprotrophic Nutrition- plants take in the nutrients from dead decaying matter are classified into sprotrophic Nutrition and are called - Sprotrophs. Eg . Mushrooms and monotropa uniflora.
parasite- the plants that derives Nutrition from other organism and deprives host of valuable nutrients are called parasite. Eg - Cascuta.
