There two types of plant tissue. One is meristematic tissue and the other one permanent tissue.

Meritametic tissues are dividing tissues.

Permanent tissues are the tissue when the tissue loses their ability to divide further.

Permanent tissues are classified in two groups :-

SIMPLE PERMANENT TISSUE :

Parenchyma - cells of parenchyma tissue are loosely packed and hence, there's a lot of intercellular space between them. the cell wall of parenchyma is made up of cellulose. the parenchyma tissue is known as chlorenchyma when the parenchyma tissue contains chlorophyll to perform photosynthesis and aerenchyma in aquatic plants which helps in buoyancy and also helps aquatic plants to float. this tissue provides mechanical support to the plants.

Collenchyma - collenchyma provides flexibility to the plants especially it's present in leaves and stems. the cells of collenchyma tissue are thickened at the corner. that's why it doesn't have much intercellular space as compared to parenchyma tissue. the cell wall is made up of pectin and cellulose.

Sclerenchyma - cells of sclerenchyma tissue us very tightly packed. There is almost no intercellular space since the cells of schlerenchyma tissue are dead. The cell wall of cells of sclerenchyma is made up legin and they are basically supporting tissues. And this tissue is very rough and rigid. The husk of coconut is made up of sclerenchyma tissue.

COMPLEX PERMANENT TISSUE :

Xylem - this tissue helps in the conduction of water in plants. Elements of xylem tissue :- tracheids, vessels, xylem parenchyma, xylem fibres.

phloem - this tissue helps in the conduction of food in plants. Elements of phloem :- sieve tubes, companion cells, phloem parenchyma and phloem fibres.

hlw dude.

A tissue is defined as a group of cells with similar structure organised to do a common function .

Tissues are of 2 types: Plant and animals.

Plant tissues are basically of two types : Meristematic and permanent .

Meristematic tissues consists of actively dividing cells and is present in the growing regions of plants that is the tips of roots and stems the cells can be round or oval polygon or rectangular but there are few things they have in common they are closely without intercellular space ,have thin cellulose, was than cytoplasm and prominent nuclei but Vacuoles are almost absent in such cells because they are completely filled with SAP .

On the basis of origin Meristem tissue are of two types primary and secondary the former are divide directly from the distance of the embryo the later developed letter in the life of the plant from permanent tissues.

Depending on the region of the plant where it is present meristematic tissue can be of three types apical lateral and intercalary .

hope it helps you. plz mark as the brainliest.
