Answer:

Nothing has convinced her to cancel her trip to goa. After lots and lots of convincing and lots of crying, her parents have allowed her to go to goa.

Now she can't drop just because we can't make it due to our exam dates. We must try and complete the exam on time and go with her to go since this is our very first planned trip. What do you all say? I asked.

Answer:

Nothing could have convinced her to cancel her 'trip to Goa'.

Explanation:

 Uses of "could have" :

  • 'Could have' is used to talk about something that was or wasn’t possible in the past.

for example;

You could have bought the black shoes, they looked great on you.

  • It is used to say that we were capable of doing something but we didn’t.

for example;

The man could have run away from the police, but he decided to confess.

  • Could have is often used with a tone of criticism.

for example;

You could have just been good to me.

  • One of the biggest differences between could and could have is that 'could' shows a past ability while 'could have' shows only a past possibility.

for example;

  1. He could run very fast before the accident.
  2. He could have run faster if his leg hadn’t hurt him.
