Flash flood in Kasmir was the worst flood ever. The region, mainly triggered by a combination of heavy rainfall and landslides are common, the state has also witnessed massive floods caused by a cloudburst in the Leh- Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir. Over 250 people were reported dead in the floods triggered by the cloudburst.
