I always thought I would never come across anyone who would drive me to lengths of insanity. I was wrong, for when I met David.

David was in his early twenties, had dark brown hair, with a touch of copper when the light hit it just right and a dazzling smile. I couldn't tell whether it was his bright white teeth perfectly aligned or the dimples which made his smile mesmerizing. I thought of him as a beautiful man to look at however, his personality was something I couldn't handle for long. He was always using his logic to explain any possible situation, scenario, theory to everybody. Sometimes it annoyed me for he was such a know it all. He wasn't modest about his knowledge either.

When I met him the first time, he shook hands with me and gave me a hint of that dazzling smile. I was supposed to go up against him in a debate and his lack of tolerance is what bothered me the most. He probably thought of me as a casual girl who was smitten by his wit and charm, but dear God was he mistaken.
