 \huge \tt \green{given :  - }

  • Length = 10cm
  • Breadth = 6cm

a)What is the area of the rectangle?

 \sf \purple{area \: of \: the \: rectangle \:  = length \times breadth} \\  \sf \: area \: of \: rectangle \:  = 10 \times 6 \\  \sf \: area \: of \: rectangle = 60cm

b) What is the area of the triangle BCM?

 \sf \red{area \:  of  \: the  \: triangle =  \frac{1}{2}  \times length \times breadth} \\  \sf \: area  \: of  \: the \:  triangle =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 10 \times 6 \\  \sf \: area  \: of \:  the \:  triangle =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 60 \\  \sf \: area  \: of \:  the \:  triangle =  \frac{ \cancel{60}}{ \cancel{2}}  \\  \sf \: area  \: of \:  the  \: triangle =  30cm
