Explanation:

Subjects are interesting only if “you” find interest in them and “you” are really curious about the kind of things you are going to learn in that plus your mind should be mostly like “why this?”, “How it is happening?”, “what is in there?” etcetera.

Now apart from your interest, there are things in life we still need to do or have to do no matter if we are not at all interested in that.

I will tell you a simple solution to that. Since you have asked this question it means you are definitely curious about the answer here, you really want to know the answer and it matters to you. And the good thing is... If it matters to you, you are certainly capable for it. *cheers*

Solution:

  • Be a bit ahead of class. Study beforehand what you are going to be taught next day in class. In that way your mind will stay alert in that class because it wants to know if whatever knowledge it has been stuffed with last night is correct and of course you will get to understand everything that teacher is teaching! Plus you will be the one with most of the answers your teacher might ask while teaching! Great? Feeling confident already? Good.
  • Now you are wondering.. Okay this is fine but how to really study it? (Hopefully you are thinking the same else our mind might not be working similar way :P ). So yes! How to study effectively? :
  • Curiosity for the topic you are going to study.
  • Visualize what you are studying. For beginners I would say, visualize by literally drawing it in your notes. For eg : you studied “a magnet has two poles, south and a north” ; so what you can do here is draw a rough magnet (seriously at this stage you don't have to take scale and draw all very accurately, atleast when you are making notes) and mark the south pole as S and north pole as N and similarly continue with your notes. I can only give you some little idea, keep trying and you will definitely get the flow of effective studying.
  • Application!! Yes! The basic idea about studying anything is because we want to apply or understand it practically. So whatever you study , try to find the reason behind it and what importance it has in this universe. Because this will make your mind feel satisfied about so much hard work it is doing to understand those tricky theories has actually got some sense in life.
  • Have a sound sleep.
  • Next morning try to just recall mentally what you studied. For Eg: you studied about “dual nature of light” ; so recall “what did you study? (The topic may be)” , “what was it saying under that topic?” and “why the hell did I study that? Wat I understood from it about real life implications?”
  • If you could recall all that. Wow ! *cheers* (btw I am just cheering tea, okay ! ) you are good to go with your physics!
  • And yes, never stress much. You should not harass your mind much. Feel peace in studying.

Hope I helped you in someway. Do tell me your progress when you are finally on track :)
