Step-by-step explanation:

In P:Q and Q:R, since the letter Q is same in both the ratio. we need to make the number or value of Q in both the ratio with the help of multiplication or division as follows

First we simplify the ratio

P:Q = 1/2 : 1/3 = 1/2 ÷ 1/3 = 1/2 x 3/2 = 1x3/2x2 = 3/4

P:Q = 3:4

Q:R = 1 1/2: 1 1/3 = 3/2:4/3 = 3/2÷4/3 = 3/2 x 3/4 = 3x3/2x4 = 9/8

Q:R = 9:8

LCM of 4 and 9 = 36

P:Q = 3x9:4x9 = 27:36

Q:R = 9x4:8x4 = 36:32

now we can take the value of p and r and write in the form of ratio since the value of q is same.

So, P:R = 27:32

I hope it helps
