When a thief broke into the merchant's house, the wall of the old house collapsed and the thief was killed on the spot. The thief's brother visited the foolish king and claimed that the merchant was the murderer of his brother as it was his wall which had fallen down. When he was summoned, the merchant helplessly explained that it was the bricklayer's fault for not building the wall correctly. The bricklayer was now brought to the court and when given a chance to the king's mind, he said that he was distracted by the jiggling of the anklets of a dancing girl, who went up and down the street all day when he was laying the wall. The dancing girl, now an old woman, came trembling to the court only to tell that the reason why she had been walking up and down the street was because of the goldsmith, to whom she had given some gold to make jewelry. The lazy fellow had tricked her that he'd give it her now and then, which caused her to walk so much. Then the goldsmith was summoned to the court, and when he arrived, he pleaded justice that he couldn't complete the request of the dancing girl because the merchant had ordered some jewelry to be made for an upcoming wedding and he was very impatient. Now, the justice had come full circle, back to the merchant.

Explanation:

The goldsmith said that the merchant was the same merchant whose house wall had fallen down. Justice has come full circle means that the story ended at the same person from whom it had started. The thief died under the wall of the same merchant whose jewellery this goldsmith was making
