Now read this news report.
High school rowers, James Konopka and Nick Mead were well on their way
to winning the medal in a race when one of the opposing boats capsized. Konopka
and Mead decided to abandon their medal hopes and help their opponents out
of the freezing water. After rescuing the two fallen rowers from the water, Konople
and Mead got into their boat and finished the race.
Do you think the two did the right thing by giving up the chance to win a medal
to help the opposing team?
