b)In the above mentioned lines the poet is saying that her mother has been dead for nearly twelve years, which is also the age of the girl in the photograph. Her loss is so severe that she has nothing to say at all about her mother's demise. She can not hear her mother anymore, she can only remember her laughter

c) To the mother, the little girl was the past that was true a long time back just as the mother was a living reality to the poet years back

e)The silence silences means the loss of her mother's death. Its silence refers to mother's death and silence refers to make more silence. The sentence "Its silence silences "here refers that Death is already silent. 'THE SILENCE SILENCES' is used.
