Taro was a yong woodcutter who lived with his parents on a lonely hillside . He was obedient to his parents . One evening Taro and his parents were sitting corner of the hut . The wind whistled through the cracks of the hut . Taro's father was shivering and wished to have a cup of sake . Taro worked hard to fulfill his father's wish but he earned very little money . So,he can't buy the expensive Japanese drink sake . One day he heard the sound of rushing stream in that part of the forest . He was thirsty so,he drank a cup of water from that waterfall but it was magical sake . He took it to his home and gave to his father after drinking a sip of sake Taro's father danced on middle of the floor . One day Taro's father gave a cup of sake to one greedy villager and he told all that what happened to his son . After drinking she went and spread the news that Taro has cup of sake . Next morning Taro tried to to go early morning than before . Then he saw that all the villagers was standing with jug, bucket,earthen pitcher . One of the villager tasted the water from waterfall but it was normal cold water . The villagers wanted to drown Taro . But clever Taro hidden behind the rock . After the villagers went Taro came out and tasted the water but it was the sake . The waterfall gives only sake to Taro and others water . The story reached to the emperor of Japan and the emperor rewarded Taro for being obedient to his parents The emperor also wanted other kids to be like this .
