Answer:
My favorite place is my comfy bedroom. My bedroom is the only place where I can relax myself after a hectic day at school. Whenever I come back from school, I will–always head to my bedroom, which welcomes me back with open arms. The tranquility of my room atmosphere makes me feel at home because I have gotten used to the messiness of my room. A tidy room makes me feel like a fish out of water The familiarity, the sense of ordered clutter is distinctive and uniquely appealing. In fact, my room feels awkward when it is tidied up! I feel comfortable lying on my bed and doing my homework while playing music through the speakers. The soothing effect of the music always keeps me calm, especially when I’m attempting a tough question and may feel rather frustrated. Music calms me down. I will also open my window to let in the cool refreshing breeze that never fails to invigorate me. The distinctive smell of the lake waters carried by the wind wafts into my nose when I’m doing my homework by the window. When I sit by the window, I can always look out and see the view down below to take a break after my work or I can take a short nap on my bed. My favorite place of all time will always be my room.
My family ate dinner at Merrymead Diner every Friday night while I was a child. We huddled close in a large, red booth as we scanned the familiar menu. The aroma of gravy over creamy mashed potatoes lingered in the air. I snuggled close to my mom’s arm as she ordered our drinks. The waitress brought our thick milkshakes out on a tray and placed them in front of us on a paper doily. The jukebox in the back played songs that we all knew the words to, and we sang along until our food arrived, hot and enticing on the table. Outside I shivered in the cold air, but in the diner I was cozy, munching on crispy French fries and enjoying a hot, juicy cheeseburger.
