Now, write diary entries on these topics.

1) You visited your native village and saw the simple life led by the villagers there. Write a diary entry stating why you liked or disliked the experience.

2) You, along with a few friends, have joined an NGO that educates people. Write a diary entry about your experience there.

Dear Diary,

It was such a pretty day for me. I have gone to my grandfather's house which was in village for picnic on a month. I have seen many changes there. The things that was liked by me was the nature. There was a lovely and pleasant smell. It is very memorable for me and the second thing that I like was that the village was free of pollution. In village no garbage were thrown on roads. The things that were disliked by me are the electricity doesn't support. So we can't watch television. And the roads were not constructed as cities roads. The village has not better house for living.

I hope that I may go to village next year also.

Good night Diary

Dear Diary,

I and my friend have recently joined NGO of Mumbai. It is the place where children are educated. Top student also got a scholarship. We have to educate the people who are uneducated till now.

We always got to 8-10 houses and ask that you have educated till where. In cities mostly people are educated but in village only 15% of people are educated. Some of them are not educated till 10th. It is really a hard work for me.

Good night Diary

Diary Entry (1)

Dear Diary,

From the past 1 month, I had gone to my native village after an year. I had experienced a simple life led by the villagers there. It felt a little different but I got used to it in a week.

The thing I disliked the most there was that the electricity would not be there for a quite long time and at night it would be hard to make out where the things are. Since it was cold, I felt relieved because in the summer season in my village it is really hot and we don't have the facility of fans and air conditioners there. The food habits and the things they do in the village is quite different. The villagers eat a lot more than the people who live in the city and because of that most of the time I wasn't hungry. Since electricity supply is less, we have to seek for other entertainment other than TV. I had a fun time playing with the village kids. They were friendly and nice.

I had an amazing time there. I really would like to go there again next year. For now it is getting too late. I am ending this entry here.

Diary Entry (2)

Dear Diary,

Recently I have joined an NGO that educated people with my few of my friends. For now we are given the work to collect the report of the uneducated citizens of India but it is quite interesting.

Everyday, we would go to a different village and take a small 5 question survey related to education from each villager and collect the data. Accordingly I have found out that 70% of the villagers in one of the villages have been educated only till class 10th and 10% have not at all been educated. Education plays a great impact in our country and our lives. Our job is to raise awareness on education and help the uneducated to get educated. Mostly, some parents don't educate their children due to the high fees rate so the government should implement something that could give free education to the citizens of India at least till class 8th.

For now we are giving our best to educate people of our country. I am ending this entry now since it is getting late.
