• Arulmigu Meenakshi Amman Temple is a very well-known temple and is also called Meenakshi Sundareshwarar Temple
• It is dedicated to the goddess Meenakshi, a who is a  form of Goddess Parvati, and her consort, Sundareshwarar, who is a form of Shiva
• We visited Madurai in the premonsoon season and one of the fascinating places we visited was the Meenakshi Temple.
• The idol of the Goddess was fascinating and the Aarti we noticed was soul-satisfying
• Madurai, itself is a beautiful city with lots of interests like the Flower Park, The Botanical gardens, and The Industrial Hub
