Answers
Answer:
1 Nancy is the young woman
Answer:
This line is from the 1838 novel Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens.
1.) The young woman referrred to in this story is Nancy. She happens to be a thief in the story, a member of Fagin's gang and Bill Sikes' lover.
2.) Nancy had eventually grown to be very protective of Oliver, whom she viewed with a motherly affection. Nancy prevented Oliver from being kidnapped the second time from Fagin and his gang. She provided the benefactors of Oliver the infirmation about Oliver's evil half brother Monks who was in league with Fagin. So this is the valuable help that Nancy had given
3.) Fagin happened to send a spy (Noah) to keep an eye on Nancy. And basis his report, Fagin realizes that Nancy had warned Oliver's benefactors about Fagin, but Nancy kept Bill Sikes out of it. But Fagin, twisted the information and told Bill that Nancy had informed on him. So Bill silenced Nancy by killing her. So this was the fate of the young woman that happened because of the valuable help she offered.
