According to my view I think students are suiciding because of:
1.Overstress
2. Getting ashamed in front of all students.
3.Not getting expected marks.
4. May be teachers manhandling
5.Parents fear ( what would happen if I(student) didn't get rank this time)
The steps to help them are:
1.Parents should give them hope and make them stress free.
2. Teacher should conduct motivative classes to make them motivative.
3.Change must come from parents also by telling children that no problem better luck next exam when students get less marks.
hope this will help students not suiciding.

Many students have committed suicides in the last few years. Students of different ages from 10 to 22 are taking this forbidden route to escape from their troubles. Many of them were away from home in hostels. Many of them belonged to renowned educational institutions. Suicides are reported mainly from urban areas and from different parts of the country.
Problems they could be facing are:
1. Insults from fellow students or friends.
2. Failure in exams or fear of failure.
3. Sometimes even fear of not performing in forthcoming exams.
4. Not being able to fulfil parents' wishes and expectations.
5. Failure in love affairs.
6. Exploitation and harassment (including sexual) by teaching or non-teaching staff.
7. Blue whale like stupid game, which turns the minds of innocent children.
8. Loneliness and losing interest in the pleasures of world.
The corrective actions are:
1. Parents and close relatives must behave friendly with the young. Children must always have someone close to share joy and sorrow.
2. Parents must tell explicitly their children not to run away or commit suicide. Those are not good alternatives.
3. Students must realize that studies are part of life. But studies only are not life itself.
4. Failure in exams or facing insults or being exploited or harassed make one feel despair. But after a few months or years things will change for better. Pandavas in Mahabharat lived in forests, begged for food and became even servants.
5. Don't be too greedy. Don't compare yourself with others if it only brings grief.
6. Educational institutions must not put stress on students. There must be a counselor in each school , college and hostel. A doctor's consultation must be made mandatory for students identified to be under stress.
7. Students must be asked to write letters and phone their nearest friends and relatives. Communication relieves them of stress.
8. Games like Blue whale must be banned.
