An=Cn mid point

add both

am + an = bm + can

mn = ab/2+ac/2

2mn = ab + ac

2mn = bc

hence proved.......

Hey mate ,

Firstly apply mid point formula to find coordinates of M and N

By applying mid point formula in AC coordinates of N will come out as 1,1

Similarly coordinates of M will become -2,1

Now apply distance formula in MN and BC

MN = √ (-2-1)^2 + (1-1)^2

MN = √9+0

= 3

similarly

BC = √ (5+1)^2 +(2+4)^2

BC = √ 36+36

BC = √72 = 6√2
