Given : there are more than two numbers in a certain list,

To Find : is each of the numbers in the list equal to 0

(1) the product of any two numbers in the list is equal to 0.

(2) the sum of any two numbers in the list is equal to 0.

Solution:

product of any two numbers in the list is equal to 0.

Let say 3 numbers { A , B , C  }

AB = 0

AC = 0

BC  = 0

if B = 0 & C = 0  then all product combination  are zero

but A is not necessarily zero

each of the numbers in the list is not equal to 0

(2) the sum of any two numbers in the list is equal to 0.

Let say 3 numbers { A , B , C  }

A+B = 0

A+C = 0

B+C  = 0

A+ B = A + C   => B = C

=> B + C = 0

=> B + B = 0

=>  B = 0 , C = 0  & A = 0

each of the numbers in the list equal to 0
