Answer:

India is the only country having a demographic dividend of late twenties..that means an average highest population is youth.. youth represents dynamic, energetic and highly productive age which can contribute to the economic , social and cultural development of our country.. The more they are given encouragement and resources for research and development, the more their skills could be materialized to the development of our technology.. we could channelize the skills and the youth energy into various other fields like industrial sector, entrepreneurship, art and culture, agriculture etc.. being a service tertiary economy which accounts to various services earning a prominent part of our gdp, if our youth are given proper skills that meets the demands of our markets ,then we could materialize our youth energy in a very better way.. currently a very high percentage of youth are remaining unemployed and lack proper skills that market demands leading them to anti social activities or leading a unproductive life both to themselves and for the nation as well.. If we are seeing the demographic dividend of various developed countries it would be more 40s. To simply put in we have the required labour energy and brains, now what that lacks is a right system or infrastructure to channelize these high youth proportion to the right path.. even when the schemes like MNREGA and the UBI (which is recommended in the current Economic survey) seems helpful to a small section of families ,there is a section who is misusing the same for materializing their laziness or lack of skills..its high time we should look into this issue seriously and to make use of our youth energy for the welfare development of our nation.

We all recognise that an educated population is the nation's greatest asset.

hope you understand this
