I have a different viewpoint from all the answers. According to me this is a sequence but not according to the point of view from AP..

The first no. is 2 and the next no. is 3 so 3 is derived by (2*2=4–1=3)

After 3 the next number is 5 so we can derive 5 by (3*2=6–1=5)

After 5 the next number is 9 so we can derive 9 by (5*2=10–1=9)

Thus this process works till the last number so it is a type of series in which we multiply the number by 2 and subtract it by 1..
