Kiran Notay answered this
an=5n-3
let n=1
a=5(1)-3
=2
let n=2
a2=5(2)-3
=7
therefore ap= 2,7...
Sn= n/2{2a+(n-1)d}
=20/2{2(2)+(20-1)5}
=10{4+(19)5}
=10(4+95)
=990

nth term of AP = 5n-3
1st term of AP = 5 (1) - 3
= 5 -3
= 2
Second term of AP = 5 (2) -3
= 10 -3
= 7
Third term = 5 (3) - 3
15 - 3
= 12
So AP is 2,7,12..... with common difference = 5.
Hope it helps.
1st term of AP = 5 (1) - 3
= 5 -3
= 2
Second term of AP = 5 (2) -3
= 10 -3
= 7
Third term = 5 (3) - 3
15 - 3
= 12
So AP is 2,7,12..... with common difference = 5.
