a2=2+7

a2=9

so d=a2-a1

d=9-8

d=1

$s10 = \frac{n}{2} (2a + (n - 1) \times d) \\ = \frac{10}{2} (2 \times 8 + (10 - 1) \times 1) \\ = 5(16 + 9) \\ = 5(25) \\ = 125$
