NTSE physics question A person moves a certain distance in a certain time. If 1/3 of the distance is covered in 2/3 of the time with speed V1 and the rest of the 2/3 distance in 1/3 of the time with speed V2, then is V1/ V2 is 1. 1/2 2. 1/4 3. 4/9 4. 2/9 Please explain! Thanks

V1 = (1d/3) / (2t/3) = d*3 / 2t*3 = d/2t = 1/2 *d/t
V2 = (2d/3) / (1t/3) = 2d/3 / t/3 = 2d/t = 2* d/t

So V2 = 4V1
V1/V2 = 1/4
