the cell nucleus is a membrane bound structure that contain the cells and control the cells growth and reproduction it is usually the most prominent organelle in a Cell the human body contains billions of cells most of which have a nucleus.

nucleoid is an irregular shaped region within the cell of a prokaryotes that contains all are most of the genetic material called genophore. in contrast to the nucleus of Eukaryotic cell it is not surrounded by nucleus membrane
