There is attraction between the two but the electrons are spinning in a circle around the nucleus this exerts a force on the electron called the centrifugal force. This nullifies the attraction meaning The force of attraction= Centrifugal force, hence the electrons do not move towards the nucleus.

Hope this helps

nucleus charge is positive

electrons charge is negative

electrons have their own orbitals to revolve around nucleus so electrons do not fall in nucleus
