Hence Median is Sum of 4th and fifth term/2

Fourth term = 2x + 10

Fifth term = 2x - 8

Median =
$25 = \frac{2x + 10 + 2x - 8}{2} \\25 = \frac{4x + 2}{2} \\ 4x + 2 = 25 \times 2 \\ 4x = 50 - 2 \\ 4x = 48 \\ x = \frac{48}{4} \\ x = 12$
Therefore x = 12
