hey sis
to stich shirt = 2m 15cm required
(to get correct answer we need to
convert m into cm)
= 2 x 100 + 15
=215 cm
cloth that we have = 40 m
= 40 x 100 ..( 1m = 100cm)
= 4000
to get the numbers of shirts from a given cloth we need to divide the 1 shirt unit by cloth that we have
therefore, no. of shirts = given cloth /
measurement of 1 shirt
= 4000 / 215
= 347.8 ( 348 approx)
therefore, 348 shirt can be made by 40m cloth
thanks sis
