Let the no. be x.
so if x is mutiply by 3 it becomes 3x then increased by 5 it becomes 3x+5
Then x is multiply by 7 it becomes 7x then decreased by 15 it becomes 7x- 15 so if said it is equal
3x+5 = 7x -15
3x -7x = -15-5
-4x = -20
x = -20÷-4
x = 5
so the number is 5.
