Solution :-

Given,

Total number of boys = 1200

Total number of girls = 800

Therefore,

Ratio of the number of boys to that the number of girls:-

= Number of boys:Number of girls

= Number of boys/Number of girls

$= \dfrac{1200}{800}$

By making making it in the simplest form, we get:-

$= \dfrac{3}{2}$

Therefore, Ratio = 3 : 2
