Given info : mass of meta phosphorus acid is 6.4g

To find : number of gram atoms of Hydrogen in given mass of meta phosphorus acid.

Solution : chemical formula of meta phosphoric acid is HPO₃.

So, molar mass of HPO₃ = 1 + 31 + 3 × 16

= 32 + 48 = 80 g/mol

now no of moles of meta phosphoric acid = given mass/molar mass

= 6.4/80 = 8/100 = 0.08

From chemical formula, it is clear that 1 atom is present in 1 mole of meta phosphoric acid.

so, no of mole of Hydrogen atoms = 0.08

gram atom means mole of atoms.

so, gram atoms of Hydrogen present in 6.4 g of meta phosphoric acid is 0.08
