I think u must have no. of moles instead of miles..
Anyway The answer is 0.5 mol.
Formula for the complete combustion of methane with oxygen:
CH4 + 2O2 -> CO2 + 2H2O
Molecular mass of CO2 = 12 + 2(16) = 44 g
Combining 1 and 2, 1 mol CH4 = 44 g (1 mol) CO2
By proportion, 0.5 mol CH4 in complete combustion = 22 g CO2.
