Number of peripheral microtubules in centriole is 9

Explanation:

Flagellum and centrioles are the cell organelles which are seen in eukaryotic cells.

The former is involved in cell movement whereas the latter is highly responsible for cell division process. A eukaryotic flagellum is a heap of nine combined sets of microtubule doublets encompassing two focal single microtubules. The purported "9 + 2" structure is normal for the center of eukaryotic flagellum called an axoneme. In the centrioles also there is nine pair of peripheral microtubules.
