Answer:

no. of spectral lines=n2-n1

n2=n

Answer:

Number of spectral lines emitted in any particular series is (n2 - n1)

=> 7 - 2

=> n1= 5

It should be noted that

n2 = 7

and n1 of balmer series is always 2.
