To Find :

• The number of girls, boys and the teachers.

⟹ Let us take the number of boys as x

⟹ Let us take the number of girls as ( x + 2 )

⟹ Let us take the number of teachers are ( x - 2 )

Let us add all these and make them equal to 24 in order to find the value of x.

The equation formed would be -

$\sf{2 + x + x + 2 + 2 - x = 24}$

$\sf{4x = 24}$

$\sf{x = \frac{24}{4} }$

$\boxed{ \sf{ \red{x = 6}}}$

We found the value of x, i.e the value of boys in the class is found.

Now, the no. of girls = 2 + x = 2 + 6 = 8

The number of teachers = x - 2 = 6 - 2 = 4
