Numerator of a rational number is 3 less than its denominator. If 5 is added to numerator and dinominator, then its
becomes equal to3/4
Find the number.​

numerator=x-3

denominator=x

according to question,

x-3+5/x+5=3/4

x+2/x/+5=3/4

3x+15=4x+8

x=7

number=4/7
