Solution :-
Given ,
- Mass of body = 5 kg
- Velocity of body = 2 m/s
We need to find ,
- Linear momentum = ?
As we know that ,
- Momentum = m × v
Substituting known values ,
⇒ p = 5 × 2
⇒ Momentum ( p ) = 10 kgm/s
Hence , momentum of the body = 10 kgm/s
More information :-
Physics formulae
- p = m × v
- F = m × a
- a = v - u/t
- W = F × S
- S = ut + 1/2 at²
- v² - u² = 2as
- v² = 2gS or 2gH

Answer:
✳️ Given ✳️
A body of mass is 5kg with velocity 2ms-¹
✳️ To Find ✳️
What is the linear momentum.
✳️ Formula Used ✳️
p = mv
Where,
- p = linear momentum
- m = mass
- v = velocity
✳️ Solution ✳️
Given :-
- Mass of body = 5kg
- Velocity of the body = 2m/s-¹
➕ According to the question by using the formula we get,
p = 5 × 2
p = 10kgms-¹
The Linear momentum is 10kgms-¹
