1. A child takes 100 g of water at 40 C and gently drops an iron ball into it. The resulting temperature is 35C (i) Who is at a higher temp water or iron ball?

(ii) What is the mass of the iron ball?  

If Sepcefic heat capacity H.C of water 4186J/kg/C  and  Specific heat capacity of iron 480 J/kg/C​

  1. since the same a amount would be required is to rise the temperature from 25degree Celsius to 30degree as released when temperature falls in same fashion (conversion of energy)
