Numericals based on Kinematics equation :

1. A bullet is fired into a wall with a velocity of 50m/s . If the

bullet stops at a depth of 10cm inside the wall find the

retardation provided by the wall.

2. A car travelling at 18 km/h speeds up to 54 km/h in 5 second.

What is it’s acceleration?

3. A car travelling at 60 km/h uniformly retards for 10 s and

reaches a velocity of 45 km/h. Find the retardation.

Friend plz answer fast I need it.

Answer:

1.V^2- u^2 =2as

v=0m/s, u=50m/s and s=0.1m

-2500= 2×a×0.1

a= - 5000m/s^2

2.u=5m/s, 15m/s, t=5sec.

v= u+at

15= 5+a×5

a= 2m/s^2

3.v=u+at

45= 60+a×10

-1.5=a

a= -1.5
