nutrition in amoeba :- amoeba is a unicellular organism. it captures food by forming pseudopodia around the the food particle . when the food is captured it reaches food vacule there it is digested by several enzymes. so long food is in the food vacule it is digested. the digested food component are soluble and easily diffuse into the cytoplasm passing through the food vacuole . it 8s then utilized by the cells . the utilisation of food component is called assimilation. the undigested food is then thrown out of the body and this process is called egestion.

in amoeba process of obtaining food is called phagocytosis.
