Nylon cloth is used in the manufacture of umbrella.Give reason?

nylon was the first synthetic fiber to be made entirely of chemicals. because it absorb very little amount of water that why umbrella is made up of nylon.

Since nylon is a human made fibre ... it absorbs negligible amount ofwater and hence it protects you from getting wet in the rain. Nylon also have a cooling effect therefore it also protects you from intense heat in the sun.
