Answer:

let earlier number of student going=8x

let earlier number of student not going=3x

total students=11x

11x=55

x=5

earlier number of student going=40

earlier number of student not going=15

now number of student going=43

now number of student not going=12

so new ratio will be43:12

hope it helps....follow for sharpening your maths skills

Answer:

The new Ratio will be 43:12

Step-by-step explanation:

The ratio of Children going : not going

8:3

Total number of Students=55

Total ratio =11

Total number of children going =\frac{8}{11}×55=8×5=40

Total number of children not going=\frac{3}{11}×55=15

Children going+Not going=40+15=55=Total No.of Students

3 who were not going earlier are now ready to go

Not going children = 15

3 children are ready to go

So, 15-3=12

Going Childrens=40

3 children are ready to go

So, 40+3=43

The new Ratio will be 43:12
