height is the tree: 12m

shadow cast by it:9m

height of the pole: x

shadow of pole:18m

x= 12*9/18

x= 12*1/2

x=12/2

x=6

answer=6m

Anup score more runs and Height of pole is 24 m.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Length of shadow = 18 m

Height of tree = 12 m

Length of shadow of pole = 9 m

According to question, we get that

\dfrac{x}{18}=\dfrac{12}{9}\\\\\dfrac{x}{18}=\dfrac{4}{3}\\\\x=6\times 4\\\\x=24

2 runs in 6 overs and Anup made 63 runs in 7 overs. Who made more runs

Anup's average  is given by

\dfrac{63}{7}=9

Average is given by

\dfrac{6}{2}=3

Hence, Anup score more runs and Height of pole is 24 m.
